Free Workshop: Correlation with JMETER
This 1.5-hour free workshop will introduce you to Correlation in JMeter, a fundamental concept for handling dynamic data in performance and load testing of web applications. Whether you’re new to performance testing or have some experience, this workshop will guide you through how to capture and reuse dynamic values like session IDs, tokens, and timestamps in your JMeter scripts. With a hands-on demo, by the end of the session, you’ll be equipped to implement effective correlation and ensure accurate test results for your applications.
About the Instructor:
Chandra Kumar has over 12 years of experience on Performance Engineering and Testing. He is Blaze meter Certified Apache JMeter and Microfocus Loadrunner Certified Professional. He has extensive experience on PT tools like Apache JMeter, LoadRunner, Neoload and APM tools like Dynatrace, AppDynamics, PerfMon, NMON. He has been providing professional training on performance test tools and performance engineering for more than 2 years.
Workshop Objectives:
In this session, you will learn to:
- Understand the basics of correlation and its importance in handling dynamic data in JMeter.
- Set up Regular Expression Extractors and JSON Extractors to capture dynamic values.
- Familiarize yourself with HTTP requests and how to extract dynamic values from server responses.
- Implement correlation by creating and executing a performance test script in JMeter that captures and reuses session data.
- Analyze test results and verify if dynamic values are handled correctly using JMeter’s tools.
- Get introduced to best practices for correlation and its impact on accurate performance testing.
