Selection of any Random value from drop down list using Truclient protocol

The Truclient will perform the select action while recording the selection of any specific value from the drop down list. In below diagram we can see the step is for Selecting ‘UKRAINE’ from the drop down list.

2. So in order to select different counties from the dropdown list, we have topass the countries name in the text fields of the Argument.

3. So the first thing we need to do is to change the selection of values to ordinal. We can achieve this by clicking on alternative steps and enabling the steps which consist of step where truclient is selecting value by ordinal.

4. As shown below, the value is 243 in ordinal means it will select 243th value from the dropdown list. If it is first then it will select the first value from the dropdown list.

5.Now in order to make the selection random, simple place 0 in the ordinal. We can see in below diagram when we pass 0 in ordinal the steps defined as “Select a random option from Country listbox”.
